The New Birth

Formed by Tony Churchill and music-industry veteran Harvey Fuqua, New Birth was originally named the Nite-Liters. As the Nite-Liters, they enjoyed chart action with three R&B hits: "K-Jee," "Afro-Strut," and "Pull Together." Of the three, "K-Jee" was the most successful, peaking at number 17 during a 13-week run.The roots of the band lie with Leslie and Melvin Wilson, who were gospel singers living in Muskegon, MI. After moving on to Detroit in the late '60s, their interest remained centered in gospel. Melvin Wilson eventually met the Nite-Liters, who at the time were backing Motown artists, and expressed the possibility that he and his brother Leslie.

Tudo branco no Serato especial para os 25 anos do Nike Air

As empresas Rane, Serato e Nike anunciaram uma edição especial do Serato Scratch Live (SSL) comemorando os 25 anos do AirForce 1. Trata-se de uma versão branca do mais popular simulador de vinil do momento, carinhosamente conhecido como “Serato” (apesar deste ser o nome de uma das empresas que o fabrica).
Ficou realmente bastante bonito. Ele inclui versões na cor branca do aparelho, discos, e de uma bolsa exclusiva para DJs, tudo seguindo a estética do AF1, da Nike, um dos tênis mais famosos de toda a história da indústria da moda.
O kit porém, é exclusivo e a princípio não será vendido, o que é uma pena. Ficaria lindo pra quem possui um Macbook branco (eu, por exemplo!). No site da Rane tem mais informações e uma foto em alta resolução do press shot.
